a) Carriage and Packing is chargeable on orders having a net invoice value of under £250.00.
b) Where goods are specially obtained from manufacturers and a carriage is made, we reserve the right to pass it on.
a) Payment must be received by us not later than the last working day of the month following date of dispatch. In the event of default in payment by due date, we reserve the right to charge interest on money overdue and to suspend deliveries or to terminate the contract.
b) If the purchaser shall pay any account or any part thereof by cheque that subsequently is dishonoured, the seller reserves the right to debit the purchaser's account with any charges relating to the handling of such dishonoured cheque.
c) The seller reserves the right to repossess any of the goods in respect of which payment is overdue and for this purpose the purchaser hereby grants an irrevocable right and licence to the seller's servants and agents to enter upon all or any of its premises or sites to recover such goods.
Notice of any claim arising out of or in connection with this contract must be given in writing to the seller within 14 calendar days from the date when the goods are collected or delivered, failing which all claims shall be deemed to be waived and absolutely barred. In any event, the seller shall be under no liability for shortage or damage unless within 14 calendar days of delivery the buyer gives written notice of claim otherwise than on a consignment note or delivery document to the carrier and to the seller.
The proprietary title in the goods shall not pass to the buyer and the buyer shall keep the goods as bailees and trustees for the company, (returning the same to the company upon request), until the price of the goods shall have been wholly paid and until any other sums whatsoever which are due from the buyer to the company under any contract or otherwise howsoever shall have been paid in full without any deductions or deferment on account of any disputes or cross claims whatsoever. The buyer shall be entitled to sell and effect delivery of the goods to third parties in the normal course of his business but the proceeds of any such shall, whenever any sum whatsoever is due from the buyer to the company, be held on trust for the company and on such sale and/or delivery the buyer is hereby deemed to assign to the company absolutely, (and the company hereby accepts such assignment), for the benefit of any claim which the buyer has against any such third party arising from such sale and/or delivery. Any receiver or liquidator appointed over the assets of the buyer shall pay into a separate bank account any sums received from third parties in respect of sales to them of goods the buyer, up to the amount of any indebtedness of the buyer to the company, for the sole benefit of the company.
No variation or waiver of, or addition to these conditions shall be binding unless expressly confirmed by the seller in writing.

All products sold by the company, excluding consumables such as lamps and light bulbs, are subject to a one-year warranty from the date of receipt of the goods. This warranty guarantees the quality of the product in regard to manufacturing faults that occur during normal use and does not cover damage by misuse, negligence or general wear and tear. This warranty does not extend over a year even where the manufacturer gives an estimation of the expected life of the product.
In regards to any claim regarding faulty items; these will be sent over to the relevant supplier for testing. Once a decision has been made by the supplier, a credit note will be issued (if applicable).
You have the right to cancel your online website order within 14 calendar working days of ordering, or 14 calendar days of receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer). For cancelled orders, payment will be returned following the return of goods. It is the customers responsibility for any costs to return the items. For lighting design services, no refund is possible if work has been carried out, so please ensure your intention to cancel is made within 14 calendar days of making a payment. For customised goods no returns are possible.
