    Returns Policy

    1. Non-Faulty Returns and Cancellations for Online Orders

    Please ensure that you order precisely what you require to avoid any unnecessary expenses later. If the goods ordered are not what you receive, please advise us by email on the day of delivery where possible. Under Distance Selling Regulations you have a right to cancel your purchase. However, to exercise this right you must notify us in writing, (email or letter) within 14 days from the day after your goods are delivered to your shipping address. 

    As stated above notification of cancellation must be in writing, a telephone call is not a valid cancellation.

    No right of cancellation, refund or return exists under the Distance Selling Regulations once you have used your product, unless the product is defective, and we have the chance to supply a replacement. 

    Goods that are sealed or shrink-wrapped and that have been removed can only be returned if they are defective and previously agreed by email.

    Mr Resistor will confirm receipt of the cancellation or return notification and in the event of a return, will issue you with a returns number.  We do not accept returns unless we have first been notified and have issued a returns number.  This should be included with your return on a separate piece of paper including your order number and name.  This should not be written on any of the original packaging as we are unable to accept returns where packaging is marked in any way.  

    Once we have confirmed your return, you have 14 days to return the item to us at the address supplied.  You are responsible for paying any postage or shipping costs incurred when returning the product and we recommend that all returns be sent by a means that a record of the return is available.  We will not issue refunds for any items lost or stolen in transit to us. Please ensure you quote your name, address and Doc. number with your return.

    When returning an item please ensure the box and packaging are in perfect condition. Cartons must not be written on or defaced in any way. Please apply your courier label to the outer box with sellotape and do not write on the box.

    Subject to the above, we will refund the purchase price of a returned product within 7-10 days of receiving it to the supplied address.  The refund will be to the same payment method used for the purchase transaction.

    Please be aware that certain items may be subject to a Return processing fee, typically set at 20%.

    No right of cancellation, refund or return exists under the Selling Regulations once you have used your product, unless the product is defective, and we have the chance to supply a replacement. 

    Goods that are sealed or shrink-wrapped and that have been removed can only be returned if they are defective and previously agreed by email.

    Items that are being returned to us must be sellable for the next customer. The items should not be used or opened. The item should be in its original packaging. The packaging should not be marked in any way. We cannot accept returns where the above is not met.

    Subject to the above, we will refund the purchase price of a returned product within 7 days of receiving it. The refund will be to the same payment method used for the purchase transaction.

    Please be advised that items purchased from the showroom may incur a return processing fee typically set at 20% - We offer a credit note for item returned. The credit note is valid for one year after it has been produced. If you would like a full return instead of a credit note, that will be a 20% handling charge applied.

    3. Returning a Faulty Item

    If you are returning your product because of a physical defect, please advise us of the defect within 14 days. All glass, mirror or plaster breakages should be reported to us within 48 hours of receiving your package.

    If you are returning your product because of an electrical defect, please advise us of the defect within 30 days.

    You must notify us in writing, (email or letter) within the above time periods from the day after receiving your order, a telephone call is not a valid cancellation.

    Mr Resistor will confirm receipt of the return notification and will issue you with a returns number.  We do not accept returns unless we have first been notified and have issued a returns number.  This should be included with your return on a separate piece of paper including your order number and name.  This should not be written on any of the original packaging.  If the original packaging of a defective product has been damaged or destroyed, you should ensure that the returned product is adequately packed for shipment back to us

    Once we have confirmed your return and issued an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization), we will arrange a collection of the goods for you and provide a returns label, confirming these details by email.  We will not refund un-authorised courier or postal costs.

    Subject to the above, we will refund the purchase price of a returned product within 7-10 days of receiving it in our warehouse.  The refund will be to the same payment method used for the purchase transaction.

    All our products come with a one-year warranty; past this time, any issues will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

    4. Discounts and Quotations

    We appreciate your purchase of discounted items or products based on a quotation provided by our company. As such, we want to ensure you are aware of our returns policy for these items.

    Return Eligibility

    All discounted items or products purchased based on a quotation are considered final sale and are non-returnable and non-refundable, unless there is a manufacturing defect or fault. We cannot accept returns or offer refunds on discounted items or products purchased based on a quotation due to their reduced price.

    Manufacturing Defects or Faults

    If you believe there is a manufacturing defect or fault with your discounted item or product purchased based on a quotation, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the item to arrange for a return or exchange. We will require proof of the defect or fault and may request additional information to determine the issue. If a defect or fault is found, we will offer a refund or exchange, depending on your preference.

    Cancellation Policy

    Orders for discounted items or products purchased based on a quotation cannot be cancelled once the order has been confirmed and processed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
